Memories

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you have of either Spencer, Katrina or our family. It doesn't matter how well you know us, anything you remember will be fun!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

As soon as I read this, I started laughing. The senario that first popped into my mind is of Spencer regarding you. I still laugh.

Right before you moved to Ohio, Spencer spoke in Sacrament Meeting and made some comment regarding "my wife thinks" and Bishop having memory problems.

MANY of us laughed, I knew you were dying! It didn't even seem to register to Spencer what he said and that it may embarrass you.

You had the "he's dead!" attitude and kept saying, "at least we're moving." It was so funny!

So many memories - but I especially remember the night that I went to Provo with you and met Ty. I wonder why that memory sticks out so much ;)

Katrina has a tendency to randomly give out horribly ugly things(ceramic scarecrows or old cups) to people; just to be funny. Then to get her back, you then re-gift the ugly thing back to Katrina but she always had a way of sneaking it right back to you. Just wait we'll get you one of these days!

I seem to remember someone holding a knife to my head. I wonder who that would have been...

Oh, and I do have to say. This is a cheap thing to do on your blog. Blogs are suppose to be written by you! Why haven't you put any picture, comment, or birthdays on the family website??? Get on it girl!

As you know, Jon and I went on our first date together and we doubled with you and Spencer (because we couldn't drive yet). We went to Wagon Masters, you and Spencer, were very flirty (which is good), but I remember it being awkward. Then Jon fell asleep on the way home, which made it even more awkward. But thanks for driving us!

Which one do I choose!!! What about the time we built a snowman at midnight and hung from the balcony of the dorms. Or when we would sleep outside at your house and someone always seemed to turn the sprinklers on us. Or one day we were driving and I sneezed....

I remember the time we tried to die your hair red at Cody Cowley's house in hs and it turned orange instead. What a trooper!:)

Knife to the head? HAHAHAHA!

It was always entertaining when your family was in our ward (pre-marriage)...the things I learned. You, Jon and Spencer (when he came with you) would make little comments or share stories and your mom would just laugh. I loved it.

I totally know my kids are going to be like that. (It's started in a MAJOR way with Ellexis in YW and me in there also! She lacks sensorship!) That's one reason, I NEVER asked what Spencer learned after watching my kids when I went out of town. You & Jon laughed and told me he has some stories. I'm curious, but I don't REALLY want to know what you guys know. LOL!

SPENCER was a little more pumped up about the gospel when he got home from his mission than the average RM (and that is saying a lot). The extent to which Spence "caught on fire" in the mission filed became pretty apparent when during his home coming sermon he was going off on all of us slacker Mormons and topped it off by saying "if your not reading the Book of Mormon AT LEAST 30 minutes a day don't even think about going to the Celestial Kingdom!!!"

There wasn't a dry eye on the back row...from laughter. I don't know what was better, Darren Bruns not caring or Rocky looking really nervous.

Way to keep it real Elder. BTW, how is your scripture reading???

Hi Spencer and Katrina
I saw a link from Analice's blog I just wanted to say hi! Where are you guys at now? We just love both of your families.

Off topic!

One of Ellexis' teachers (she's the TA for that class) hasn't been to school yet this year. Tonight I asked if she's had the same sub so far. "Yep, Mr. Tonioli, he's nice." She was too young to remember him from Northlake, but when I told her he was your dad, she was excited and is going to mention it to him.

I found your blog from Jon's and which I found from Kristy's...

I'm not sure if either you or Spencer remember me... I was in the 3rd ward when I was a kid, and my stepdad is Dave Royal. That's usually how I tell people who I am... "My stepdad is Dave." Anyway.

But I have a memory of Spencer, even though this is an extremely old post. I spent 80% of my childhood at Kristy's house and I remember one summer (I was still in elem school), Spencer, Eric, and Wade Reed let us go toilet papering with them. We toilet papered Vicki McFarland's house (not sure why). It was awesome. Spencer and Doug always had this great way of entertaining us and putting up with our annoying presence. Also, my parents got married in Spencer's living room, by Dan. The Calls were a big part of my childhood.
